Royale Blackman-Holmes is an emerging illustrator and cartoonist based in Michigan. Their original work is informed by their experience as a biracial lesbian, and they seek to celebrate their Trinidadian heritage by exploring post- and decolonial narratives inspired by the history and speculative futures of the Caribbean.
